The Game Mans Up and Apologizes For Using Nicki Minaj in His Beef Against Meek Mill

He almost admits dissing Minaj was in bad taste.
All eyes have been on Meek Mill and the Game this past week, with the two going shot-for-shot on Instagram and following up with respective diss tracks.

The beef, which stems from the Game’s allegation that Meek snitched regarding a nightclub robbery, has reaching a boiling point, with Russell Simmons attempting to step in as a mediator between the two rappers before their beef escalates to a dangerous level.

Earlier today (September 23) the Game dropped by Hot 97’s morning Breakfast Club show, where he spoke candidly on the situation, detailing his account of the events and how they unfolded. Surprisingly, he also spoke on his decision to involve Nicki Minaj, and decided to apologize to her for unfairly dragging her in the process.

Taking to his Instagram last week, the Game posted a photo of Nicki Minaj holding his arm, captioning the photo saying, “The last time Nicki held a REAL n***a,” in a clear shot against Meek Mill.

During his conversation with the co-hosts of the Breakfast Club, the Game addresses how him and Nicki aren’t “uncool” or anything, and he also explains that while his decision to include her was a little bit in poor taste, he didn’t mean any disrespect.

“Nicki should just stay out of it,” the Game says. “She’s in her lane. She’s doing her thing, she’s an amazing artist. I’ve got love and respect for her.”

The LA native then goes on to explain that he doesn’t regret his Instagram post, because it was a “minimal” drag.

“I’m sorry I had to drag her into this, and it was a minimal drag, but she wasn’t disrespected at all,” he continues. “I went and I did what I had to do. It looked like a photo shoot or a video shoot, it don’t look like us in a hotel room.”

That’s kind of like a sincere apology, right?
